The Concours des Grands Vins de France is held in Macon in the southern reaches of Burgundy annually and is one of France’s longest established wine competitions.

 

Only wines of an exceptional quality are awarded a gold medal. We're proud to be the only Irish stockist of several of these award winning wines.

Saint Jacques is a full flavoured red, ideal as an aperitif and complements meat, fish and cheese very well, great value at this price. Grown at low altitude on terraces rich in clay and limestone, the grapes are harvested and fermented in stainless steel casks for up to 12 months prior to bottling.

The perfect accompaniment to fish, white meat and Asian cuisine, or as an aperitif. Grown at low altitude on terraces rich in clay and limestone, the grapes are harvested at dawn to keep them cool and preserve their unique flavour, the wine is then matured in stainless steel casks for up to four months prior to bottling.
